Opening of SVANEHØJ office in China
Following almost two decades of China sourcing experience, SVANEHØJ now opens a new office in Suzhou, China. A dedicated team with profound knowledge of the region and our business is already in place.
The opening of new SVANEHØJ office in Suzhou is an important milestone since our divestment from Wärtsilä late last year and an excellent opportunity to build further on our local relations.
Additionally, regional presence and expertise are becoming increasingly vital as we supply to several of the largest shipyards in the region. With China representing a growing number of these yards, SVANEHØJ is well-positioned to leverage and navigate the “Made in China 2025” initiative.
To lead the new office in Suzhou, SVANEHØJ has appointed Robin Sun. Robin has been working with us for more than ten years in different functions and on different levels of our business. In addition to his new role as Team Leader, Robin will continue as Senior Purchaser and Category Lead for our Chinese supply base.
The Chinese office will be supporting both SVANEHØJ and Hamworthy Pumps business. Setting up a dedicated team that work to identify synergies across our businesses will make a difference to customers and suppliers worldwide.
