Permission Granted To Resume Operation During COVID-19 Circuit Breaker Measures
With reference to the recent announcement by the Singapore government, commonly known as “circuit breaker” which takes effect from 7th April 2020, we are pleased to announce that Hamworthy Pumps has just received permission from regulatory to resume operation of our manufacturing facility in Singapore during this period.
Only blue-collar workers are allowed to return to the premise and run the operation, while most of the employees will work from home to support the business. Employees’ safety remains our top priority and we ensure all necessary measures are taken, in line with the mandated guidelines from the authority.
With this exemption granted, we are able to sustain the uninterrupted supply of our pumps and parts, especially to customers with urgent needs. We will continue to strive our best to meet the global demand in this essential sector.
